Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is the scientific and official publication of the Turkish Society of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine and published three times per year; in April, August and December.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is an international periodical based on independent and unbiased peer-review principles and is published both in Turkish and English.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is indexed in EMBASE, Scopus, CINAHL, Gale/Cengage Learning, EBSCO, DOAJ, ProQuest, Index Copernicus and Turkiye Atıf Dizini databases.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine publishes reviews, case reports, editorials and letters to the editor, and particularly original articles about clinical and basic science research on intensive care, including pediatric intensive care, neurointensive care, intensive care nursing, physiotherapy in intensive care, and acute and emergency medicine.

While reviews are generally written at the invitation of the editorial board, uninvited articles will also be considered. Letters to the editor can be written in response to published articles. Reviews written by specialists on a specific topic can be published as a special issue.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is to present and share findings of the studies conducted in intensive care unit, opinions as well as interesting cases. The target group of Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is physicians and healthcare staff at clinical and basic science departments who are interested in intensive care.

Subscription
Printed version of the Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is distributed with no charge to the members of the Turkish Society of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine who paid their annual subscriptions. One copy of issue will be sent to all authors after publication. Annual subscription price for the Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is 20 TL for nonmembers. Those who want to subscribe to the journal should apply to the Turkish Society of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine. The full texts of all articles are issued online at (www.dcyogunbakim.org.tr) and are available in PDF format.
